William C. Tucker began painting at an early age beginning a lifetime of intense artistic exploration culminating in his current experiments in colorful, highly organized yet symbolically suggestive abstract paintings and prints. In describing Tucker's intuitive creative process, Arts Magazine has said that "by groping and searching back, deep within himself, beyond the known, beyond history, he has grasped and concretized the primordial states of mind imbedded in the collective unconscious."
